What is ISO 27001?
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized standard for information security. The standard specifies how organizations can identify, assess, and treat their security risks to ensure effective information security. ISO 27001 provides a systematic and structured approach to implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and improving information security management systems (ISMS). The implemented measures aim primarily to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. The Stollen Luzern data center has been officially ISO 27001 certified since 2023.
What is the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact?
The European Green Deal needs green IT infrastructure. More than 100 data centers have committed to the European Green Deal to achieve the ambitious goals of greenhouse gas reductions in the climate law and to utilize modern technologies and digitalization for a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. The Stollen Luzern data center is a member of the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact and already ensures operation from renewable energies today.
What is meant by Datacenter Tier?
Datacenter Tier refers to a classification system developed to evaluate the reliability and performance of data centers. There are four tier levels that define different requirements for infrastructure and availability. The Stollen Luzern data center is classified as Datacenter Tier III+. This means that a redundant and maintainable infrastructure is in place, which largely prevents operational interruptions due to maintenance work. There is an availability of 99.982% per year.
