Operation with renewable energy
Our servers run exclusively on renewable electricity from natural resources, primarily from hydropower.
Ecological lake water cooling
The cooling of our ecological data center is not done by conventional chillers with compressors but by cold water from the nearby lake. Therefore, no electricity is needed for the actual cooling generation.
Waste heat utilization for the surroundings
The waste heat from the data center is fed into the local heating network and used to heat neighboring buildings. This creates a meaningful energy cycle.
Sustainable construction
Instead of new construction, we focus on repurposing: The former civil defense bunker is efficiently reused. This reduces gray energy and saves resources. Thanks to the underground construction of the bunker, valuable space on the surface remains free.
Technology for energy efficiency
State-of-the-art DCIM systems and flywheel UPSs guarantee the highest efficiency in power supply, monitoring, and control of the systems.
