Our offer

Our certifications
ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized standard for information security. The standard specifies how organizations can identify, assess and manage their security risks to ensure effective information security. ISO 27001 provides a systematic and structured approach to implementing, monitoring, maintaining and improving information security management systems (ISMS). The measures implemented pursue the main objective of ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. The Stollen Lucerne datacenter has been officially ISO 27001 certified since 2023.
The European Green Deal needs green IT infrastructure. More than 100 data centers have committed to the European Green Deal to achieve the ambitious greenhouse gas reductions of the Climate Law and to use modern technologies and digitalization to achieve a climate neutral Europe by 2050. The Stollen Lucerne datacenter is a member of the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact and already ensures operation through renewable energies today.
Datacenter Tier is a classification system that was developed to evaluate the reliability and performance of data centers. There are four tiers that define different infrastructure and availability requirements. The Stollen Lucerne datacenter is classified as Data Center Tier III+, which means that it has a redundant and maintainable infrastructure that largely prevents operational interruptions due to maintenance work. There is an availability of 99.982% per year.
General
Colocation and cloud computing are two different approaches to hosting IT infrastructure. Both colocation and cloud hosting are characterized by flexibility in the offering, its easy adaptation to changing needs, as well as professionalization and cost reduction through outsourcing. The main difference is that with colocation you still own the hardware, whereas with cloud computing you only rent the computing power and storage space. Colocation is therefore ideal for companies that want to retain full control over their data and hardware, while cloud computing is ideal for companies that want maximum flexibility and no longer want to worry about hardware.
Physical security in data centers should be a top priority when protecting sensitive data. Traditional server rooms, as they are often still found, no longer meet modern security standards. State-of-the-art data centers counteract this. Measures such as the division into security zones, modern access and monitoring systems, measurement for early detection and resilient systems are the foundations of cyber security, regardless of whether colocation or cloud.
Modular space management refers to the flexible and scalable design of the data center space, which makes it possible to adapt and expand the space and infrastructure as required. This means that additional modules and capacities can be individually integrated without major conversions or downtime. This means that your hardware, whether standard rack, private cage or private suite, can be optimally adapted to your needs.
