TüViT ‘level 3 extended’ certification
Five main tunnels at 200 square meters and eight private rooms at 50-100 square meters are spread across 1,640 square meters of IT floor space. The 600-rack tunnel system is connected to an uninterruptible supply of electricity, cooled with lake water, fitted with fiber optics and supplied with three megawatts of power. The ewl network control center guarantees round-the-clock operation (24/7) with a corresponding on-call service. ewl’s unique skill set, gained from its years of planning, building, operating and maintaining the basic utilities and telecoms of the city of Lucerne, ensures that the facility is expertly run and highly self-reliant.
